NAPP MISSION STATEMENT
The National Association of Pond Professionals, Inc. is dedicated to the advancement and promotion of the pond and water feature industry through education, communication and cooperative partnerships.
NAPP CODE OF ETHICS
As a member of the National Association of Pond Professionals, Inc. (NAPP) I pledge:

To conduct my business and myself in a just and honorable manner. |

To promote a positive image of pond professionals and associated categories of the water gardening industry. |
|
3.
|
|
To adhere to the Mission Statement, By-laws, policies and goals of the NAPP and to foster its objectives. |

4.

|
To maintain the highest standards of service. |
|
5.
|
|
To deal fairly, honestly and respectfully with my clients, employees, vendors and fellow members. |
|
6.
|
|
To constantly and diligently strive to improve my qualifications, knowledge and proficiency in the ornamental pond design and installation field and all related fields. |

7.
|
|
To address all practices which tend to discredit or injure the public regard of the professional pond design and installation industry and related professions. |

8.
|
|
To not speak disparagingly of our competitors or of their work. |
|
9.
|
|
To not falsely advertise our products or services. |
|
10.

|
To not knowingly enter into illegal contracts, secret debates, refunds, commissions, or other illegal or unethical acts for the purpose of injuring the competition. |

11.

|
To not imitate the trademarks, trade names, or other identifying marks of other NAPP members. |
NAPP MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
|
1.
|
|
Applicants must be engaged in (or intending to engage in) the trade of pond design / installation / retailing or a related field at the time of the application. |
|
2.
|
|
The National Association of Pond Professionals Code of Ethics, signed by the applicant, must accompany this application. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. |
|
3.
|
|
A one years due payment must accompany this application. Applications not properly filled out, unsigned, or not accompanied with a signed NAPP Code of Ethics or dues payment will be returned. |
|
4.
|
|
Membership year runs January 1st through December 31st of each year. Joining mid-year requires full membership dues with receipt of all member benefits. New member dues paid after October 1st will include the following year. |
